The oldest name here. Stamps.com has sold USPS postage from a computer since 1999 and remains the most postal-centric platform in the group: printing stamps and labels, SCAN forms, certified mail, free supplies and a scale on request. UPS rates were added later, and the same account now feeds address books, reports and multi-user access. The service runs on a flat monthly subscription of roughly $20, charged whether or not any postage is printed that month.
Comfortable for offices, law firms and mail-order shops whose volume is steady and mostly USPS. Low-volume shippers do the math and usually move to a free platform, and the interface still feels like desktop software from another decade. Cancellation goes through a phone call, which shows up in complaints regularly.
