The Bread Beckers has worked out of Woodstock, Georgia since the early 1990s, built around one idea: mill the grain, then bake the bread. A strong choice for households moving to whole grain baking in volume, and for anyone who wants teaching rather than just a checkout page: Getting Started classes, a podcast and a long video archive. Less convincing for a baker who only wants sourdough hardware, since bannetons, lames and cultures are a side line here. Bulk grain ships heavy, so freight deserves a look before ordering.
