A Swiss platform launched in 2020, deskbird now runs desk booking in more than 10,000 offices, with roughly 40,000 bookings a day. Reserving a seat takes two taps in the mobile app, the web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the weekly planner shows who from the team picked which day. Paid tiers sit in the range of about 3 to 5 dollars per user per month, there is a free Starter level for small offices, and data is hosted in Germany with GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 in place.

It fits companies with anchor days that care about adoption more than deep facility reporting, because staff learn it without training. Offices where only a fraction of employees ever comes in may find per user billing wasteful, since you pay for people rather than desks. Advanced access controls, API access and workplace ticketing sit in the Professional tier, and the Android app collects mixed ratings, so test it on a couple of phones before a company wide rollout.
