Dicor Products has supplied RV factories from Elkhart, Indiana since 1984, and its EPDM membranes cover a lot of trailer and motorhome roofs straight from the plant. The aftermarket line is built as a three part roof system: membrane, self-leveling lap sealant and coating, plus tapes, cleaners and primers. The HAPS free lap sealant is one of the highest volume products on RV store shelves. Airxcel bought the company in 2016, and Thor Industries bought the Airxcel RV group in September 2021 for $750 million.
Best fit for owners who want the same products the factory used, sold in almost any RV shop. Labels matter here: Ultra Sealant needs Dicor primer on TPO and EPDM, skips plastics under stress, and goes on above 40 F. Engineering and on site help go to manufacturers and retailers first, so owners work from instructions and dealer advice.
