Eton carries on the Grundig world band line, and this is the flagship of it, launched in 2022. AM, FM, longwave, shortwave, single sideband and the aircraft band, with a long whip, a big backlit display and hundreds of presets. Digital radio is built in as well, HD Radio in the US version. Price sits around 600 dollars, which puts it at the top of the portable class.

This one is bought for the sound and the front panel, not for the pocket. Every main function has its own key, so a listener can work the bands without diving into menus. The body is large and the weight tells on a long walk. Firmware has been patched more than once since launch, so it pays to check the version before buying used.
