For trucking, the ELD is the Geotab Drive app working with a GO device plugged into the engine port. Geotab mostly sells through authorized resellers, who set the price and handle installation. Open data and a big Marketplace of add-ons are its strong side.
Fleets with mixed vehicles, from pickups to Class 8 tractors, like that one platform covers them all. Shops with an IT person can pull the data into their own tools. The weak spot is the reseller model: service depends on the partner, and prices change from one dealer to the next. Ask who answers the phone when a truck is down before signing.
