SnoreLab, a British app on the stores since 2012, does one job properly. It records the night, measures how loud the snoring gets and converts it into a Snore Score that can be compared week to week. Samples are kept as short clips, and remedies or factors such as alcohol, a nasal strip or sleeping on one side can be logged against each night to see what genuinely changes the numbers.
This is the app to open when a partner complains, because a chart and a recording carry more weight in a consultation than a description does. Premium adds unlimited recording, complete history, cloud backup and PDF export. Price rises have irritated long standing users and the free version has been trimmed. It measures sound, not sleep stages, so it works alongside a tracker rather than instead of one.
