Sony entered the hearing aid market in 2022 with self fitting devices sold over the counter, built together with WS Audiology. The CRE-C10 is a tiny in canal aid that sits almost invisible and launched near 1,000 dollars a pair, the CRE-E10 looks like a wireless earbud and streams music and calls, and the later CRE-C20 added recharging. Setup runs through the Sony Hearing Control app: a short in app hearing check builds the profile, no clinic visit required.

Good option for a tech confident buyer with mild to moderate loss who wants a discreet device from a familiar electronics brand and buys from a normal retailer. Support comes from Sony consumer service, not from audiologists, so anyone expecting hands on adjustment or help with severe loss should look at prescription brands instead.
